ICPNT Chair Statement

Dear Colleagues,

It is my privilege and honor to welcome you to the International Council for Perioperative Neuroscience Training (ICPNT). Our mission remains steadfast: to advance the training of expert perioperative physicians dedicated to the care of patients with neurologic diseases. By fostering excellence in education and standardizing program requirements, ICPNT continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of neuroanesthesia and perioperative neuroscience on a global scale.

ICPNT’s focus is to accredit neuroanesthesiology fellowship training programs at an international level. Our charter and program requirements are meticulously crafted to transcend national boundaries while maintaining high standards for fellowship training. The aim is to graduate fellows equipped with advanced clinical skills, the ability to teach and mentor future generations, and the vision to drive innovation in neuroscience and perioperative care. Our fellows are prepared not only to deliver exceptional patient care but also to contribute meaningfully to clinical and academic neuroscience through teaching and research.

As an administrative body within the Society of Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC), ICPNT benefits from the foundational support of this esteemed organization. Together, our global network of educators, clinicians, and researchers is working to build a future where neuroscience-informed perioperative care sets the highest standards for patient outcomes.

I invite you to explore our website, learn more about our mission, and engage with our accredited programs. Whether you are a prospective fellow, an educator, or a clinician, we welcome your partnership as we collectively advance the field of perioperative neuroscience.

Warm regards,
